BEAR ARMS AT BROADCAST, 07.04.17

The local act slot was never really planned to be a thing, but fours months in and it’s kind of carved a niche for itself… April’s worthy candidate is Glasgow post-hardcore four-piece BEAR ARMS. Signed to our pals at Struggletown Records, they appeared on the scene back in 2014 with their debut Strength and Conviction - now they’re taking to Broadcast for a headlining fundraiser gig in aid of the Brain Tumour Charity. Good cause. Good band. Simple as that.

Supported by Bad Luck and Forest Fires

FFO: Deaf Havana, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New  /_/  TICKETS

REAL FRIENDS AT ST LUKES, 10.04.17

Having cancelled last year’s European tour in light of mental health issues, REAL FRIENDS have picked themselves up and rolled around again. The Illinois pop-punks are set to play the east end’s beautiful refurbished church venue, St Lukes, alongside post-punk support CAN’T SWIM and Pit favourites MICROWAVE. All original tickets valid.

Supported by Can’t Swim and Microwave

FFO: ROAM, Neck Deep, Knuckle Puck  /_/  TICKETS

THE MENZINGERS AT ORAN MOR, 22.04.17

After an explosive show at Edinburgh’s Teviot Underground last year, THE MENZINGERS are back to show Glasgow what it’s all about. With a brand new album that’s already garnering praise across the board and a slot at 2000 Trees festival later this year, we sure hope you grabbed a ticket while the going was good.

Supported by The Flatliners and The Dirty Nil

FFO: The Gaslight Anthem, Against Me!, The Bouncing Souls  /_/  SOLD OUT

VICKY SPEEDBOAT AT BLOC, 24.04.17

Still bummed about MODERN BASEBALL taking a break? Drummer Sean Huber’s side-project VICKY SPEEDBOAT have you covered with a free (!!) show at Bath street’s Bloc - and we recommend squeezing in early for this one. There may not be bookable tickets, but there’s only so much physical space.

Supports to be announced

FFO: Modern Baseball, Hot Mulligan, The Winter Passing  /_/  FREE SHOW
