SMIDLEY (FOXING, TIGERS JAW, SORORITY NOISE) ANNOUNCE SELF-TITLED ALBUMSynth-pop emo super-group SMIDLEY have announced the release date for their debut self-titled album. Spearheaded by FOXING’s Conor Murphy, Smidley (named after his dear deceased black lab mutt) is due to make it’s premiere through Triple Crown Records on June 2nd in the UK, and features many of Murphy’s good friends including Cameron Boucher (SORORITY NOISE), Eric Slick (DR DOG, LITHUANIA), and Ben Walsh (TIGERS JAW) among others. Earlier this year, Murphy gave the world a first listen to the new endeavor with No One Likes Me, described by Stereogum as a ‘synth-damaged indie-pop jam.’ Today in conjunction with the album announcement, we hear Fuck This accompanied by a video for the song set at one of the most absurd yet radical gaff parties you could ever hope to be invited to. You can pass the time waiting for UK dates by pre-ordering the album now and checking out that rad new video below.
